An 18th century, brown Pyrenean marble sink

A solid, oblong marble sink with bowed front and tapered body. Carved out of a beautifully veined, deep brown Pyrenean marble. Wear consistent with age and use. Small chips on the edges (please refer to pictures). Structurally sound and water tight. No breaks or cracks.

Inner height basin: 9cm / 3.5"

Diameter drainage hole: 4,5cm / 1.8". Any unslotted drain plug will fit.

Salvaged from a town House in the Hérault region, Southern France, ca. 1750-1800
