A lavish, 18th c. chestnut colour marble sink

A rare, chestnut colour marble sink with central, oval basin. Carved out of the beautifully veined "Rance" marble, once quarried in Southern Belgium. Featuring a bowed front with elaborate moulding. The middle section of the front edge slightly lowered. Some wear on the front moulding consistent with age and use. Small chips, losses and scuffs on the front, edges and drain boards (please refer to pictures) Otherwise in excellent, usable condition. Checked on water tightness.

Diameter drainage hole: 4,2cm / 1,65"
