A RARE, 18TH C. BRONZE COLOUR MARBLE SINK

A rare, octagonal Pyrenean marble sink with delicately moulded body. The sink has a beautifully worn surface, consistent with age and use. Small unobtrusive loss on the left back rim (please refer to pictures). Small superficial cracks on the front rim, not affecting the structural condition. Structurally perfectly sound and water tight. Diameter drain hole: 4,5cm. Inner depth of the basin: 7,5cm.

Rescued from a town house close to Perpignan, southern France. Mid-18th century
