A substantial 18th century, oblong sink carved out of a highly decorative Breccia marble. It features a bowed front and two lateral drain boards. Tapered body at the front. Roughly hewn at the back and on the sides as the sink was originally embedded in the wall. Minor losses, scuffs and knocks. Please refer to images. All beautifully tactile and time worn polished. No cracks or breaks, structurally sound condition. Drain hole has been adapted to accomodate any modern unslotted drain plug. (diameter: 4,5cm). Dimensions basin: 68cm x 51cm. Depth: 12cm.
