An 18th c. "Rouge du Maine" marble sink

A rare oblong marble sink with bowed front. Rescued from a town mansion in the vicinity of Carcassone. Elaborate moulding on the front. Some wear consistent with use and age. Structurally sound. Diameter drain hole: 6cm. Depth of the basin 9cm.
