A rare, late 18th C. Belgian marble basin.

A rare, rectangular "Rouge de Rance" marble sink with moulded base. The marble has an exquisite deep Burgundy colour. Both front corners adorned with carved "panels". Front rim of the basin is slightly lowered. Nicely weathered surface and wear throughout, consistent with use and age. No cracks or breaks. Small drain hole with 2,5cm diameter at the left. Basin waste should be fixed from underneath.
