Rare late 17th / early 18th century French quarter-round corner basin, finely carved from richly veined Incarnat turquin marble. The basin features a deep, well-proportioned bowl and a boldly sculpted exterior with pronounced gadroons, showcasing the depth and movement of the marble.
Condition: Very good overall. Expected surface wear, scuffs, and minor edge losses consistent with age and use. A small hairline crack to the upper rim has been expertly filled. No structural cracks or breaks.
