An 18th century, circular Dutch stone font

Rare circular Dutch stone font dating to the 18th century, carved from Petit Granit limestone. Featuring a beautifully moulded upper rim and a bowl-shaped body with a delicate, hand-chiseled surface throughout. The interior is smoothly finished, allowing for excellent water drainage. One minor loss to the upper rim (see images). Otherwise in excellent, sound, and fully usable condition, with no cracks or structural breaks. A highly characterful and authentic piece of early Dutch stonework.
