A late 18th-century rectangular sink carved from Gris de Ste Anne marble, with characteristic grey tones and white veining. The front is finished with a simple cornice moulding, while the interior is finely hollowed and shows an attractive, well-worn patina from use. In very good, usable condition, with small chips along the edges and a minor, unobtrusive loss to the left front corner. The sides and back are left roughly hewn, indicating that the sink was originally wall-embedded, a common feature of historic stone sinks.
