An early 19th century, French marble sink

An oblong, white marble sink subtly veined with flowing red and grey striations. The body gently tapers downward. The front corners are rounded and the upper edge is accentuated with a classical moulded rim. The sink's sides and base are smoothly finished but retain slight tool marks, evidence of hand finishing typical of the period. Some light wear, consistent with age and use. Structurally sound.
