An early 19th century, neoclassical limestone sink

A rare, rectangular stone sink, carved out of Belgian "petit granit" limestone. The body embellished with bull's eye medaillons on the front and lateral sides. Half round moulding on the upper and lower edge. Some light, unobtrusive wear on the upper edge and bottom of the sink. The inner surface of the sink is smooth and allows a perfect water drainage. Structurally sound. In very good, usable condition.
