A very large, 18th century Dutch stone sink

An exceptionally large, Dutch stone sink. Featuring a highly unusual oval shape. Adorned with a typical Dutch bolection moulding. The stone has a grey-blue background scaterred with white fossils, shells and veins. Beautiful chiseled finish all over the body. Some wear consistent with age and use. A few, unobtrusive chips on the upper rim, otherwise in excellent, usable condition. No cracks or breaks, structurally sound.

Salvaged from a property near the city of Haarlem, The Netherlands, ca. 1780.
