A late 18th C. "Incarnat Turquin" marble sink

A rare, rectangular marble sink with cut-away, front corners. Featuring a central, octagonal basin flanked by two lowered drain boards. In very good condition, some wear consistent with age and use. A few, unobtrusive losses on the upper edge. (please refer to pictures) Structurally sound and perfectly water tight.

Diameter drain hole: 5cm / 1.9" (any modern drain plug will fit)

Size octagonal basin: 48,5cm x 35,5cm / 19" x 14"

Salvaged from a town house in Carcassone, Southern France, ca. 1780
