A substantial, 18th c. circular marble font

A mid-18th century, circular "Bleu tigré" marble font. Adorned with a beautifully carved, half-hollow moulding on the body. A few, unobtrusive chips and knocks on the edges. Some light wear, consistent with age and use. Old drainage hole at the bottom.
