An 18th cent. "Rouge du Maine" marble sink

A rare, oblong marble sink with bowed front and oval, central basin. Beautiful moulding on the front. Some light wear at the bottom of the sink, consistent with age and use. Structurally sound, no cracks or breaks.

Rescued from a town house in Carcassone, Southern France, 18th century
