A substantial, 18th C. Dutch limestone sink

An exceptionally large, 18th century black limestone sink with beautiful moulding on the front and lateral sides. Delicate chiseled finish all over the body. Some white fossiles and veins incrusted in the stone. A few knocks and chips on the upper rim. Wear consistent with age and use. In excellent, usable condition.

Drain hole adapted to a modern diameter: 4,5cm / 1.8". Any unslotted drain plug will fit.

Inner height basin: 15cm / 5.9"
