A late 17th c. "Rouge incarnat" marble sink

A rare, oval marble hall sink adorned with beautifully carved gadroons on the body. Moulded "bird's beak" rim at the top. In very good condition, with small chips, knocks and scuffs commensurate with age and use (please refer to pictures). Structurally sound and checked on water tightness. Diameter drain: 3cm/ 1.2inch. Inner height of the basin: 13cm / 5.1inch
