A lavish 18th century Breccia marble sink

A rare, rectangular marble sink carved out of a beautiful Breccia marble. The front adorned with a bold bolection moulding. Vignette shaped basin with convex corners. Some wear on the lateral drain boards consistent with age and use but generally in excellent, usable condition. One small loss on the lower front corner (please refer to images) The drain hole has been slightly widened in order to accommodate any modern basin waste/ drain plug. Inner height of the basin 7,5cm / 2.95"
